On Sunday morning we went to church at St. George's Maronite Cathedral after which we had a wander round Beirut City Centre.

After driving back to Beirut we climbed up to Harisa, above Jounieh, to visit the statue of Our Lady of Lebanon: there were huge crowds there as Sunday was a national holiday

From the top of the hill you have stunning views of Beirut and the coast: this one is looking south

On Monday, our last day, we drove south to visit Tyre and Sidon:
